Intrinsic decoherence effects on measurement-induced nonlocality

چکیده

By considering an exactly solvable model of a two interacting spin-1/2 qubits described by the Heisenberg anisotropic interaction in presence intrinsic decoherence, we study dynamics entanglement quantified concurrence and measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN) based on Hilbert-Schmidt norm trace distance with different initial conditions. We highlight relationship between MIN for pure state. For separable state, it is found that robustness generation quantum correlations depend physical parameters. While entangled state as results show despite phase decoherence all reach their steady values after exhibiting some oscillations. Finally, existence correlation captured unentangled

Environmental decoherence versus intrinsic decoherence.

We review the difference between standard environmental decoherence and 'intrinsic decoherence', which is taken to be an ineluctable process of Nature. Environmental decoherence is typically modelled by spin bath or oscillator modes-we review some of the unanswered questions not captured by these models, and also the application of them to experiments. Finally, a sketch is given of a new theore...

Measurement-induced nonlocality based on the relative entropy

We quantify the measurement-induced nonlocality (Luo and Fu, Phys. Rev. Lett. 106, 1020401, 2011) from the perspective of the relative entropy. This quantification leads to an operational interpretation for the measurement-induced nonlocality, namely, it is the maximal entropy increase after the locally invariant measurements. The relative entropy of nonlocality is upper bounded by the entropy ...

Intrinsic fluid interfaces and nonlocality.

We present results of an extensive molecular dynamics simulation of the structure and fluctuations of a liquid-gas interface, close to its triple point, in a system with cutoff Lennard-Jones interactions. The equilibrium density profile, averaged and (shape dependent) constrained intrinsic density profiles together with the fluctuations of the interfacial shape are extracted using an intrinsic ...

Measurement-induced nonlocality for an arbitrary bipartite state

Measurement-induced nonlocality is a measure of nonlocalty introduced by Luo and Fu [Phys. Rev. Lett 106, 120401 (2011)]. In this paper, we study the problem of evaluation of Measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN) for an arbitrary m×n dimensional bipartite density matrix ρ for the case where one of its reduced density matrix, ρ, is degenerate (the nondegenerate case was explained in the precedin...

Intrinsic Decoherence in Mesoscopic Systems

We present measurements of the phase coherence time tf in six quasi-1D Au wires and clearly show that tf is temperature independent at low temperatures. We suggest that zero-point fluctuations of the phase coherent electrons are responsible for the observed saturation of tf. We introduce a new functional form for the temperature dependence and present the results of a calculation for the satura...
